I picked up art from my mom. She studied to be a fashion designer and later gave up her dreams in order to make money. When I was a kid she would teach me things like how to try a mouth and show me pages of her fashion portfolio. Because of her I started drawing at a young age.
Now in my free time I replicate impressionist and modern painters. I turn my mind off and just paint what I see. I like this over creating original pieces because I don't have to think as much. I've now been painting for three years and have loved it since.
My mom made me play violin like all asian parents. I started when I was 6 and I was pretty mid when I started. I did orchestra since I was 7. I made a lot of friends and still talk to them now.
I've performed at the Lakers and the White House a couple times. I also did two tours in Europe, performed in two Disneylands and did a few years of orchestra in high school. It has been a long time since I played but I think I'll practice when I go home.
